Guo Xiangqian
郭湘黔
湖南益阳人，生于六十年代初，师从尹定邦、陈汗青、李天玉、苗国清等名师。
现兼任中国包装联合会设计委员会全国委员、中国工业设计协会会员、《包装与设计》杂志顾问和视觉指导、中国设计师协会（CDA）会员、国际品牌联盟（IBF）中国南方设计中心主任、广东省人力资源与社会保障厅职能技术鉴定专家、广东省包装设计委员会会员等职务，并多次担任国际和国内设计大赛评委。
郭湘黔多年致力于视觉艺术设计与教学，作品屡获国际国内设计大奖，累计超过一百项。其中包括五项联合国世界包装组织（WPO）授予的“世界之星”包装设计大奖、中国十年包装成果金奖、国家包装奖、97当代艺术设计奖、中国之星奖、中南星银奖以及中国包装联合会授予的“中国设计事业突出贡献奖”等。
Guo Xiangqian, born in the early 1960s in Yiyang, Hunan, studied under renowned masters such as Yin Dingbang, Chen Hanqing, Li Tianyu, and Miao Guoqing.
He currently serves as a national committee member of the Design Committee of the China Packaging Federation, a member of the China Industrial Design Association, a consultant and visual director for "Packaging & Design" magazine, a member of the China Designers Association (CDA), the director of the International Brand Alliance (IBF) South China Design Center, a technical appraisal expert for the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and a member of the Guangdong Packaging Design Committee. He has frequently served as a judge for international and domestic design competitions.
Guo has dedicated many years to visual art design and education, with his works winning over a hundred international and domestic design awards. These include five "WorldStar" packaging design awards from the United Nations World Packaging Organization (WPO), the China Decade Packaging Achievement Gold Award, the National Packaging Award, the 1997 Contemporary Art Design Award, the China Star Award, the South China Star Silver Award, and the "Outstanding Contribution to China's Design Career" award from the China Packaging Federation. Guo has long been engaged in visual art design, ink painting, and calligraphy creation, skillfully integrating painting and calligraphy into his design works, effectively combining theoretical knowledge with practical life.
